New Year's Eve

Hey guys!

Today I have this year's last blog post to share with you - my New Year's Eve nails!

For the manicure I started off with a black base of Essie Licorice on all my nails. Afterwards I used a striping brush and the silver holographic glitter polish F.U.N Lacquer Diamond Flake to make the glitter waterfall.

Happy New Year guys!

Palate Cleanser

Hey guys!

Today I have some neutral nail art inspired by @nata_berestova to share with you!
After all the Christmas nail art I really needed something simple to act like a palate cleanser for me.

For the manicure I started off with a taupe base of piCture pOlish Merge on my pointer, middle finger and thumb, and a dark purple/taupe base of piCture pOlish Sisters on my ring finger. On my ring finger I used the two polishes and a make-up sponge to create the vertical gradient.

I love a simple vertical gradient like this one!

Christmas Presents

Hey guys!

Today I have some more Christmas nail art to share with you - Christmas presents!
This is inspired by my own design from last year!

For the manicure I stamped different Christmas designs from the MoYou London Festive 06 stamping plate in different colors. On the pointer I used Deborah Lippmann Blue Orchid stamped with H&M Space Race, on my middle finger I used Essie Dress to Kilt stamped with Essie Penny Talk, on my ring  finger I used piCture pOlish Kryptonite, and on my pinky I used Essence Wild White Ways stamped with Essie Licorice. To finish off the presents I used striping tape in different colors.

Today I have some cute Christmas nail art to share with you!

For the manicure I started off with the beautiful red polish Cirque Colors Rioja on all my nails, except for my ring finger which I painted blue with Deborah Lippmann Blue Orchid. Afterwards I freehanded Rudolph the Reindeer on my ring finger with a small nail art brush, the brown piCture pOlish Nougat, Cirque Colors Rioja (for the nose), Essie Lady Godiva (for the antlers), and white and black polish for the eyes.

For the manicure I started off with a red base of Essie Dress to Kilt on all my nails. BOW Thermo Top Coat Black

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of BOW Thermo Top Coat Black to share with you!
Thermo Top Coat Black is a thermal polish that ranges from a sheer light grey to black with tiny holographic flakes.

The formula is good. I applied it over the nude polish Cirque Colors Dakota stamped with the black polish Essie Licorice and the MoYou London Holy Shapes 03 stamping plate on my middle and ring finger. It applied beautifully with one easy coat, but unfortunately it did make streaks in my stamping nail art.
The thermal shift is stunning and it shifts quickly in different temperatures.

Above the polish is in its hot state and below it is in its cold state.

It really is a shame that it smeared my nail art, because I think the disappearing nail art effect is awesome!

BOW Thermo Top Coat Blue

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of BOW Thermo Top Coat Blue to share with you!
Thermo Top Coat Blue is a semi-sheer thermo polish that ranges from a bright cobalt blue to a light periwinkle blue with tiny holographic flakes.

The formula is okay. I applied it over the light blue polish Deborah Lippmann Blue Orchid and it applied streaky and difficultly on the first coat. On the second (thick) coat it evened out.
The thermal shift is definitely what is amazing about this polish and it shifts beautifully!

Above is the polish in its cold state and below is the polish in its hot state.

I am so excited to wear this polish and observe how it shifts in different temperatures!

For the manicure I started off with a black base of Essie Licorice on all my nails. Afterwards I applied a single chevron nail vinyl randomly on each nail followed by a layer of F.U.N Lacquer Crushed Diamond.

Today I have some glitter waterfall nail art that I would like to share with you!

For the manicure I started off with a black base of Essie Licorice on all my nails. Afterwards I used a small nail art brush and the beautiful F.U.N Lacquer Diamond Flake to make random lines in different lengths down the nails to make it resemble a waterfall.

Stamping

Hey guys!

Today I have some simple, chic stamping nail art to share with you!

For the manicure I started off with the sheer, nude holo ILNP Elle on all my nails. Afterwards I stamped the floral design on top of the base with MoYou London Pro 07 stamping plate and the gold polish Essie Good as Gold.

piCture pOlish O'Hara

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of piCture pOlish O'Hara to share with you!
O'Hara is a red crelly with a scattered holo.

The formula is amazing - it is a little on the thick side, but incredibly easy to control and apply to the nails. The opacity is great as well and it only needs two coats to be completely opaque. And even though this polish is packed with holo, it is as easy to remove as any creme polish is.

This polish is one of my favorites in my entire collection, so it is about damn time that I did a proper review of it! It is so stunning!

Geodes

Hey guys!

Today I tried to make geode nails for the first time! I was inspired by @heblewskasandra.

For the manicure I started off with a black base of Essie Licorice on all my nails, except for my middle and ring finger on which I started off with the blue holo glitter F.U.N Lacquer How Deep I Your Holo?. Afterwards I applied a layer of white polish followed by a layer of fast drying top coat. When that was completely dry I used a cotton swab dipped in acetone to remove some of the white polish to reveal the blue glitter underneath. Lastly I freehanded the details of the geode design with a small nail art brush, the gold holo glitter F.U.N Lacquer Million Dollar Dream and Essie Licorice.

Close up!

I was so nervous to try this out, but I am loving the result!

Gradient

Hey guys!

Today I have some awesome gradient nail art to share with you.
This manicure is inspired by Annika of @simplepolishblog who recently won a trip to Australia with piCture pOlish - it is so great for her!

For the manicure I created a different crooked gradient on each nail with the five piCture pOlish shades: Freya's Cats, Dragonfly, Escapades, Kryptonite, and Glitch.

Unfortunately some of these shades are to close in color, but I like how this look turned out anyway!

Striping Tape

Hey guys!

Today I have a fun skittlette featuring lots and lots of striping tape inspired by my own skittlette from a few years ago and by @missbellatracey!

For the manicure I started off with a mint green base of OPI That's Hularious on all my nails except for my pinky which I covered completely in rows of silver and holographic silver striping tape. On my middle and ring finger I applied one line of holographic striping tape to make a french line.

This manicure is so much fun!

Barbecue

Hey guys!

Yesterday my fiancé was having some friends over for a barbecue, which inspired me to make some barbecue nail art!

For the manicure I started off with a blue base of piCture pOlish Freya's Cats on all my nails, excepts for my pinky which I painted silver with Essie No Place Like Chrome. Afterwards I stamped with MoYou London Cook Book 06 stamping plate and Essie No Place Like Chrome on my middle and ring finger.

I think this manicure is so much fun!

Graduation

Hey guys!

Three years ago I graduated from the Danish gymnasium and today it is my baby brothers turn! That is why I made some nail art for the special occasion inspired by the student cap and by Katrines Negle!

For the manicure I started off with a bordeaux base of Cirque Colors Garnet on all my nails, except for my ring finger which I painted white with Essence Wild White Ways. Afterwards I freehanded the student cap inspired nail art on my ring finger with a small nail art brush, the bordeaux polish Essie Bordeaux, and the black polish Essie Licorice. To finish everything off I added a small gold stud.

And here's a picture with my own student cap!

I think this nail art turned out so cute and perfect for the occasion!

Wavy

Hey guys!

True to tradition I always wear green to my exams and in exam periods and as it is almost time to hand in my bachelor project, I do so these days as well. This time in a simple wavy negative space style featuring piCture pOlish Glitch.

For the manicure I used a small nail art brush and piCture pOlish Glitch to create the simple negative space effect by painting the waves directly onto my naked nails.

I love me some simple negative space nail art!

piCture pOlish Summer

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of piCture pOlish Summer.
Summer is a medium coral polish with holographic glitter and holographic flakes.

The formula on this polish is amazingly smooth - it stays exactly where you put it and it is not too thick and not too thin. The glitters might need a tiny bit of manipulation with the brush to get them evenly distributed, but it is not a big problem at all. The opacity is great as well and it only needs two coats to be completely opaque. Another incredible thing about this polish is that it dries in no time.
The only bad thing I have to say about this polish is that it dries down a little gritty, but it is nothing a good top coat can't fix.

Close up!

I was positively surprised by this polish - the color and the formula is perfect!

Lemming

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of a long time lemming of mine: the beautiful Cupcake Polish Berry Good Looking!
Berry Good Looking is a purple linear holographic nail polish.

The formula is amazing and it applies smoothly to the nails. The opacity is incredible as well and it is almost completely opaque in one coat (I applied two coats on the pictures below though).

Close up!

What do you guys think about this nail polish?
Let me know in the comments!

Edit: I have been made aware that there is numerous formulations of this polish - this one being a darker purple than the original (that I have seen swatches of online). I have to say that I am disappointed and even though it is a stunning shade, it is not what I expected.
