Hey guys!
Today I have the last manicure for the June Nail Art Challenge to show you lovely ladies!
This time it is a zoo animal manicure and I decided to make a classic leopard print on my nails.
I started off with a nude base of OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around. Afterwards I used a big dotting tool and a brown nail polish to dot on random dots and shaped on all my nails. After that I used a small dotting tool and the black nail polish Essie Licorice to outline the dots with different c-shapes.
I love a good leopard print and this manicure is no exception!

Hello ladies!
Today I have another Fancy Friday manicure for you guys!
Fancy Friday is a group of Danish nail polish keen bloggers, that follows a joint challenge in the world of nail polish and nail art every friday.
This time the Fancy Friday challenge is texture!
I was inspired by this manicure by cutepolish and this manicure by me.
I started off with a purple texture base of Nicole by OPI I'm Stucco on You. Afterwards I followed this tutorial by cutepolish using the black Essie Licorice and the white Essie Blanc.
I am in love with nail art over a texture polish - it is definitely not the last time I will be making that!

25 Nude
Hello ladies!
Today I have another manicure for the June Nail Art Challenge for you guys - nude nails!
For today's challenge I decided on doing a mannequins hands manicure.
A mannequins hands manicure is a manicure where you paint your nails a colour that closely matches your skin tone, making your hands look like a mannequins hand.
I used Essie Spin the Bottle to achive this look.
I know that the colour does not match my skin tone perfectly, but I think it is pretty close.

Graduation
Hi girls!
Today I graduated the Danish Gymnasium!
"The Danish Gymnasium offers a 3-year general academically-oriented upper secondary program which builds on the 9th or 10th form of the Folkeskole and leads to the upper secondary school exit examination (the studentereksamen). This qualifies a student for admission to higher education Preparatory, subject to the special entrance regulations applying to the individual higher education programs. Colloquially gymnasium refers to what formally called STX." (Source).
For the special occasion, I did my nails and made them match my student cap using Essie Bourdeaux with an accent nail of Essie Toggle to the Top.
Before I graduated I posted the picture below to Instagram and asked my friends which one they thought matched the cap the best! I am so happy with the two Essies that I ended up wearing.
Here is a picture of me (the face behind the nails) with my student cap and my matching nails!
I am so happy today and I love that my nails is matching my cap!

22 Tropical
Hey guys!
Today I have another manicure for the June Nail Art Challenge for you - a Tropical manicure!
When I think of something tropical, I think of beautiful sunset over a small island with palm trees. So that was my inspiration for my manicure.
I started of with a sunset gradient using the orange polish Maybelline Coral Craze and the yellow polish Ciaté Big Yellow Taxi. Afterwards I used a small nail art brush and the black polish Essie Licorice to freehand on the island and palm tree silhouette.
I am really happy with the sunset gradient, but I do not like how the palm tree silhouette turned out.

18 Picnic Day
Hey guys!
Today I have another manicure for the June Nail Art Challenge for you - a Picnic Day manicure!
"International Picnic Day celebrates the gathering together outdoors to eat and enjoy one another's company - The Picnic. The true origin of International Picnic Day is unknown, but can be traced back to the French Revolution and the Victorian Era. Picnics were ways for people to escape the restrictions of etiquette and formality. As an informal food holiday, there are few rules and lots of options. International Picnic Day is observed on June 18th each year." (Source).
For the manicure I started off with a white base of Essie Blanc. Afterwards I used a small nail art brush and the red nail polish Essie Lollipop to freehand horizontal and vertical lines to make my nails look like a picnic blanket.

15 Fathers Day
Hey guys!
Today I have another manicure for the June Nail Art Challenge for you - a Fathers Day manicure!
In Denmark we celebrate Fathers Day on the 5th of June every year, so I already celebrated it this year. My little brother and I gave our father a specialty beer and some peanuts.
I really did not know what to do for this manicure! I thought long and hard about doing beer nails, suit nails or something like that. Then I remembered this manicure by Erin at Paint Those Piggies and I decided to use the idea!
I told my father to pick between two and five polishes. He chose the white polish Essie Blanc, the black polish Essie Licorice and the green polish Essie Going Incognito, and told me to do football nails, because every dad is watching the World Cup these days! And that is what I did!
I love how these turned out! So fun and sporty!

Fancy Friday is a group of Danish nail polish keen blogger, that follows a joint challenge in the world of nail polish and nail art every friday.

I was inspired by this edgy manicure by The Nailasaurus to make a geometrical ruffian manicure!
I started off with a light blue base of By K. Blue Fog on all of my fingers. Afterwards I used a nail art striper and the dark blue polish By K. Ink to make rectangles on my nails - and there you have it: a geometrical ruffian manicure!
I love how simple and pretty this geometrical manicure turned out!

11 Neon Gradient
Hi girls!
Today I have yet another manicure for the June Nail Art Challenge for you guys! This time it is a neon gradient.
To make this neon gradient I followed this simple tutorial by The Nailasaurus using two polishes from the Essie Neon 2014 Collection: Essie Too Taboo and Essie I'm Addicted.
Making a gradient manicure is so difficult and time-consuming, but I still love how they turn out every time - and this time is no exception!

Medina by GOSH
Hey guys!
Medina is a Danish pop, dance and R&B singer and songwriter. She is one of the most famous singers in Denmark and she cooperated with the Danish cosmetics company GOSH to create a line of cosmetics called Medina by GOSH consisting of make-up, nail polishes and fragrances.
Today I have swatches of two out of the eight nail polishes from Medina by GOSH.
The first nail polish I have for you guys is called Mocca.
Mocca is a tan nude or light brown creme polish. The formula was good - almost a one-coater, but I applied two coats for the picture down below. The only problem I had with this polish was that it was not very self-leveling.
Medina is a deep red crelly polish. The formula was good - nice and smooth. The opacity was also great - almost a one-coater as well, but I applied two coats to cover up any VNL.
I am in love with this shade of red - it is just perfect!
I also made some nail art with the two polishes from Medina by GOSH. I was inspired by this manicure by The Nailasaurus.
In this manicure you can really see how well the two colours go together!
Lastly I would like to show you guys one of my favorite song by Medina.
I love these Medina by GOSH polishes!

Fancy Friday: Ice Cream
Hello ladies!
Today I have something new for you guys: Fancy Friday.
Fancy Friday is a group of Danish nail polish keen bloggers, that follows a joint challenge in the world of nail polish and nail art every friday.
My first Fancy Friday Challenge is nail art inspired by ice cream. When I heard the title of the challenge I immediately thought about my Etude House polishes, because the bottles are shaped like little ice cream cones. You can see my reviews and swatches of those here.
I decided upon using one of the Etude House polishes in today's manicure!
For the manicure I started off with a matte pink base of Etude House PK001 Stawberry and Essie Matte About You to make my nails resemble strawberry ice cream. Afterwards I followed this tutorial by cutepolish on YouTube, using Essie Lady Godiva (dark brown) to resemble the chocolate sauce, and Essie Blanc (white), Essie Mint Candy Apple (mint blue), Ciaté Big Yellow Taxi (yellow), Essie Mojito Madness (green) and Essie Watermelon (dark pink) to resemble the sprinkles. But instead of using a striper like cutepolish does in her video, I used a dotting tool to make my sprinkles round.
I love how this turned out - it really does look like strawberry ice cream with chocolate sauce and sprinkles!
What do you girls think? Let me know in the comments!

06 Fav Movie
Hello ladies!
Today I have another manicure for the June Nail Art Challenge for you guys! As the title of this blog post displays it is a manicure inspired by my favorite movie!
Even though I do not watch a lot of movies (I am more of a tv-series kind of girl), I have a lot of favorite movies. Some of my favorite movies are every Harry Potter movie ever made, Frozen, Forest Gump, Love Actually, Monsters Inc. and Maleficent (to name a few).
After much consideration I came to the conclusion that I simply cannot pick only one favorite movie. That is why I have taken the liberty to interpret this challenge, and instead of making a manicure inspired by my favorite movie, I chose to make a manicure inspired by my favorite time a year to watch movies, which is around christmas! Every year around christmas I watch Love, Actually at least five times and Home Alone 1 and 2 at least two times each while I polish my nails!
For the manicure I started off with a green base of Essie Pretty Edgy on all of my nails except for my accent nail, which I painted red with Essie Lollipop. Afterwards I followed this tutorial by cutepolish on YouTube using Essie Licorice (black), Essie Blanc (white) and Essie Good as Gold (self-explanatory).
I did this manicure once before last year in December - you can see that one here.
This manicure is definitely my favorite christmas manicure - it is so cute with the little Elf's and Santa suits.
What do you girls think? Do you approve of my interpretation? Let me know in the comments!

04 Disney
Hey guys!
Today I have the second manicure of the June Nail Art Challenge for you! This time it is Disney nail art so I decided to make a manicure inspired by one of my favorite Disney movies: Finding Nemo.
I started off with a orange base of Maybelline Orange Attack on all of my nails except for my accent nail which I painted blue with Essie Mesmerize.
On the orange nails I used the white Essie Blanc and the black Essie Licorice to paint on clown fish details with a small nail art brush to make the nails look like Marlin and Nemo. For these nails I was inspired by this manicure by Kayla Shevonne.
On the accent nail I used the yellow Ciaté Big Yellow Taxi and the dark blue Essie After School Boy Blazer to paint on the blue tang fish details to make the nails look like Dory.
I am in love with how these turned out: so simple, but so funny and cute!
What do you girls think? Does it remind you of Finding Nemo? Let me know the comments!

01 The Sky
Hi girls!
Today I have the first manicure of the June Nail Art Challenge for you guys! As the title of this blog post displays it is a Sky Manicure!
I started off with a sky blue base of Essie Avenue Maintain. Afterwards I used a small dotting tool and the white nail polish Essie Blanc to dot on the clouds - and that is it! Pretty simple really.
I think this manicure turned out really cool and for some reason it reminds me of the wallpaper from Toy Story.
What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments!
