Dusty Blue Dotticure

Hi girls!

Today I made a simple dotticure with dusty blue shades and polka dots.

For the manicure I started off with a light, dusty blue base of By K. Blue Fog. Afterwards I used a small dotting tool and the dusty blue Chanel Blue Boy.

I love this simple manicure!

Cherries

Hey guys!

Today I made a cute, summer-y manicure featuring little cherries!

For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on my pinky, ring, and middle finger, and a red base of Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pop Art on my pointer and thumb. For the cherry nail art on my ring and middle finger I used a dotting tool and the red nail polish to dot on the cherries followed by a small nail art brush and green acrylic paint to make the stems. To finish off the skittlette I applied China Glaze Fairy Dust to my pinky.

I think this manicure would be perfect for summer!

Fancy Friday: Multicolored Stamping

Hello ladies!

Today it is time for another Fancy Friday manicure!
The challenge this week is multicolored stamping. I did not know whether to make double stamping (two layers of stamping in two different colors) or gradient stamping (one layer of stamping with two different colors blend together). I went with the last one and I am really happy with the result!

For the manicure I started off with a light blue base of Deborah Lippmann Blue Orchid on all my nails. Afterwards I stamped the gradient chevrons on my middle and ring finger with MoYou London Fashionista Plate Collection 05, Mundo de Uñas Green, and Mundo de Uñas Turquoise. To finish off the skittlette I applied the silver glitter China Glaze Fairy Dust on my pinky.

I love how this turned out and it is definitly not the last time I will make multicolored stamping!

Stamping is hard!

Hey guys!

Today I made a simple black and white manicure featuring stamping (that is a little crooked and smeared)!

For the manicure I started off with a black base of Essie Licorice on my pinky, middle, and ring finger, and a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on my pointer and thumb. Afterwards I stamped the pattern on my middle and ring finger using MoYou London Fashionista Plate Collection 08 and Mundo de Uñas White.

I think stamping is a hard skill to master!

Moustache Studs

Hey guys!

Today I have a simple skittlette featuring moustache studs to share with you!

For the manicure I started off with a blue base of Yves Saint Laurent Bleu Majorelle on my pointer and thumb, a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on my middle and ring finger, and a silver texture polish on my pinky. Afterwards I applied the moustache studs to my ring and middle finger.

The moustache studs I used for this manicure is from Born Pretty Store. They come in a pack of five (#6506 in the color Silver), so if you use them as an accent nail (or two), there are for a couple of manicures in the pack. They also come in gold and bronze.
I collect things with moustaches on them and these studs are perfect! I really like them because they are awesome and fun, and because they are curved to fit the nail, which make them really easy to use!

I love these cute moustache studs!

Queen

Hi girls!

As I said earlier, I always call myself Queen Louise as a joke and today I made a manicure inspired by just that!

For the manicure I started off with the beautiful piCture pOlish Freya's Cats on all my nails. Afterwards I applied the crown charm in the still wet top coat on my ring finger.

Freya's Cats is a royal blue scattered holo (get it? Royal blue). The formula is awesome and it applies like butter! The opacity is good as well and the polish is opaque in two coats.

The crown charm I used for this manicure is from Born Pretty Store. It comes in a pack of two (#17695 in the model #514), but they are reusable if you clean them with nail polish remover or acetone after use. They also come in other models in different shapes (bows, crowns, and flowers) and sizes.
I like these charms as they are an easy way to turn any manicure into something a little more festive and fun, they are easy to use, and they are really pretty!
If you want to buy something in Born Pretty Store, remember to use my coupon code SXKQ10 for 10% off your entire order and free international shipping. Click here to see their nail art products.

I really like how fun and festive this manicure is!

Princess

Hi girls!

I always call myself Queen Louise as a joke, but today I have some simple princess nail art to show you guys!

For the manicure I started off with the beautiful piCture pOlish Paris on all my nails. Afterwards I applied the bow charm in the still wet top coat on my ring finger.

Paris is a coral/pink scattered holo. The formula was beyond amazing - I have never applied a polish that easily! The opacity was great as well, being completely opaque in just two easy coats!

The bow charm I used for this nail art is from Born Pretty Store. It comes in a pack of two (#17695 in the model #711), but they are reusable if you clean them with nail polish remover or acetone after use. They also come in other models in different shapes (bows, crowns, and flowers) and sizes.
I like these charms as they are an easy way to make any manicure a little more exciting and festive, they are easy to use, and they are really pretty and cute!
If you want to buy something in Born Pretty Store remember to use my coupon code SXKQ10 for 10% off the entire order and free international shipping. Check out their nail art products here.

Fancy Friday: Text

Hey guys!

Today it is time for another Fancy Friday challenge.
This week the challenge is text and I decided to make a chalkboard with different kinds of text and doodles.
I also thought about doing newspaper nail art, but I did once before.

For the manicure I started off with a dark green base of Essie Going Incognito. Afterwards I freehanded the text and doodles with white acrylic paint and a small nail art brush. I finished with a matte top coat of Essie Matte About You.

While I write this blog post I realized I should have interpreted this challenge as text(ure) instead!

Nail Polish Earrings

Hey guys!

Today I have something different to show you guys - nail polish earrings!

You'll need the following to make the earrings:
- Nail polish (of course)
- Glass cabochons
- Earring blanks
- Super glue

If you want to make some nail art on the earring and not just paint them with one polish, you'll need dotting tools, make-up sponges, nail art brushes etc.

It is actually pretty easy to make the earrings; you reverse what you do when doing nail art, meaning you start with the nail art you would have finished it with on the nail and finish with the base.

I already made 10 pairs; 5 with nail polish and 5 with nail art:
1. Red with white polka dots
2. Pink gradient
3. Space
4. Leopard
5. Stamping
6. piCture pOlish Darcy
7. piCture pOlish O'hara
8. piCture pOlish Freya's Cats
9. Dance Legend T-1000
10. Essie Set in Stones + Essie Ruffles & Feathers

I need to order more cabochons and earring blanks ASAP, as I already have some more nail art ideas (ying/yang, snowflake and cherries) and nail polish ideas (Essie Shine of the Times, piCture pOlish Forget Me Not and piCture pOlish Paris).

What do guys think about these nail polish earrings? Let me know in the comments!

Saran Wrap

Hello ladies!

Today I have some simple nail art to share with you guys - another saran wrap manicure!

For the manicure I started off with a pink base of Essie Lovie Dovie on my pointer and thumb, a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on my middle and ring finger, and a silver base of By K. Moon Dust on my pinky.
For the nail art on my middle and ring finger I applied random drops of Essie Lovie Dovie, Essie I Pink I Can, and By K. Moon Dust around the nail and smeared it together using a piece of saran wrap.

A tutorial of this will be up later!
