Nail polish apps

Hey girls!

Today I will show you the three apps I use for nail polish purposes on my phone.

1. Nail Polish Book (Free)
This is a really cool and simple app.
You take a picture of every polish you own. If you like you can also add the name, shade, brand, collection and a comment about the polish. This way you can easily browse your whole nail polish collection in a second ;)
I have chosen to swatch some of the polishes on my nails for the pictures.

2. Mani Diaries (Free)
This app allows you to share pictures and details of your own manicures and nail art, while admiring others doing the same.
Get inspired and inspire others!
You have your own profile with all your pictures and you can like, comment and follow your favorite nail artists.

3. Nail Designs (2 $ for all packs)
This app is a tutorial app for a lot of beautiful nail designs!
There is a variety of different packs you can choose from, e.g. 'On a date', 'Let's Party', 'Back to school', 'Summer breeze' and so on.
You can then choose your own favorite designs, so you can make them later.
This app is so helpfull and I would definitely recommend it.

Prom

Hey guys!

Last week I made some manicures on some of my girl friends for our senior prom and here they are!

Laura was wearing a blue gown with silver details.
For this manicure I used Essie Mesmerize, some metallic blue and silver nail striping tape and a generous amount of top coat. So pretty!
Her accent nail is matching her boyfriends butterfly (blue striped). How cute is that?

Katrine was wearing a light turquoise gown and pearl jewelry. She decided she wanted her nails to match her jewelry.
For this manicure I used Essie Pearly White. Definitely a colour on my wish list!!!

Lea was wearing a bordeaux gown, but she wanted a little extra on her manicure, so I created a silver glitter ombre effect.

Amalie was wearing a dark turquoise gown, that sort of faded lighter and lighter towards the bottom.
For this manicure I used Essie Mint Candy Apple as a base, some striping tape and Essie Turquoise and Caicos on top of it.

Btw, we had a LOVELY senior prom, thank you very much ;)

Smokin' Hot

Hey guys!

Essie Smokin' Hot is PERFECT for fall! It is the hottest, dark, dusty purple colour. Inside the polish looks almost black.
Here I created some simple nail art to go with the polish.

My current pedicure would be perfect for the summer, but I could not resist making it now.

Fall colours

Hey guys!

Today I have swatched some beautiful fall colours for you!

Essie Sew Psyched
A pretty, dusty mos green colour with a very subtle glitter (not visible on picture).
I used 1-2 layers. Application was really easy!

Essie Angora Cardi
A really beautiful dusty pink.
I used 2 layers. Application was really easy!

Gosh Miss Grey
A pretty medium gray.
I used 2-3 layers.

Essie Go Overboard
A dark marineblue colour with a hint of green.
I used 2-3 layers. Application was somewhat difficult, as the polish was very thin and cuticle seeking.

Essie Bordeaux
The colour is in the name of the polish ;)
I used 3-4 thin layers, as the polish was very thin. Application was somewhat hard.

Essie Lady Godiva
A delicious dark brown.
I used 2-3 layers, but application was good.

Max Factor Amethyst
A beautiful dark purple.
I used 2-3 layers and application was okay.
