Hello ladies!
Today it is time for another Fancy Friday challenge, where the theme this week is easter.
I made a manicure inspired by the colors of easter (yellow and green) and the decorations on easer eggs (tribal print).
For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on all my nails. Afterwards I made a gradient with a make-up sponge, the yellow polish Ciaté Big Yellow Taxi, and the green Essie First Timer. Then I freehanded on the tribal print with white acrylic paint and a small nail art brush. Unfortunately the yellow polish "swallowed" the white acrylic paint after I applied the top coat, so it looks faded over the yellow polish.
I like how this turned out, even though the white acrylic paint is a little faded.
What do you guys think about this easter manicure? Let me know in the comments!
Stay polished.
- Louise

Bananas
Hey guys!
Today I made another skittlette featuring fruit - this time it was bananas!
For the manicure I started off with a purple base of OPI Funky Dunkey on all my nails. Afterwards I used yellow and black acrylic paint and a small nail art brush to paint the bananas on my middle and ring finger. To finish off the skittlette I applied China Glaze Fairy Dust to my pinky.
I do not know if this is a nail fail or not. I need to work on my freehand skill regardless!
What do you guys think about this banana nail art? Let me know in the comments!

This time the challenge is being inspired by fall and I decided to make a waterfall manicure inspired by The Nailasaurus using fall colours.

Afterwards I followed this tutorial (also by The Nailasaurus) using the following polishes: By K. no. 56 Autumn Leaf (orange/brown), By K. no. 70 Dandelion (yellow), Essie Style Cartel (dark brown) and Essie Penny Talk (bronze).
What do you girls think about this fall nail art?

Fabulous Fruits: Pineapple
Hi girls!
Today I have even more nail art for the fruit theme Fabulous Fruits to show you guys!
The nail art I did today is a pineapple skittlette manicure for the Danish nail polish brand By K.
If you do not know what a skittlette manicure is, you can read about how Marta from Chit Chat Nails explains it here and if you want to know more about the Danish nail polish brand By K. you can visit their website here.
For the manicure I started off with a purple base of By K. Lavender Blue on all my nails except my pinky which I painted with the textured purple nail polish Nicole by OPI I'm Stucco on You. Afterwards I freehanded pineapples on my ring and middle finger with By K. Dandelion (yellow), By K. First Class (green) and By K. Choco Mousee (brown).
I simply love how these turned out!

Fancy Friday: Around the World
Hello ladies!
Today I have some Fancy Friday nail art to show you guys!
This time the challenge is Around the World. When I first saw what the challenge was this week, I thought about making a manicure with flags from all the places I have visited around the world, but I already did that once. That is why I allowed myself to use my artistic freedom and make a galaxy manicure. If you have to go all around the world, you should go to space, right? Maybe not, but I made a galaxy manicure anyway!
I also wanted to show you guys my first try at making a galaxy manicure a little over a year ago. That is why I decided to make a 'Then and Now', to show you guys how much I have developed this last year!
For the 'Now' manicure I started off with a black base of Essie Licorice. Afterwards I followed this tutorial by cutepolish on YouTube using Essie Blanc (white), Essie In the Cab-Ana (turquoise), Essie Mesmerize (blue), Essie After School Boy Blazer (dark blue), Ciaté Big Yellow Taxi (yellow), Maybelline Coral Craze (orange), Essie No Place Like Chrome (silver) and China Glaze Fairy Dust (silver glitter).
I really have developed a lot this last year and I am really proud of myself!

Fancy Friday: Untried
Hello ladies!
Today I have some Fancy Friday nail art to show you guys!
This time the challenge is untried, which can mean both an untried technique or untried nail polishes. I decided to try an untried technique - negative space - with one of my untried nail polishes (like a boss!).
Down below is a picture of my little drawer of untried nail polishes (those of you following me on Instagram have already seen this). I keep all my untried nail polishes apart from my other nail polishes so I know which ones to try out and use next!
For the manicure I was inspired by this negative space manicure by Alice at One Nail To Rule Them All.
I followed her tutorial using a medium sized dotting tool, By K. Dandelion (yellow), Essie Mint Candy Apple (blue), Etude House OR202 (orange) and my untried L'Oréal Pistachio Drage (off-white green). For the matte effect I used Essie Matte About You!
I do not know if I like this particular negative space manicure, but I will definitely try the technique again sometime.
What do you girls think about this negative space manicure? Let me know in the comments!

OPI Life Gave Me Lemons
Hey guys!
Today I have another OPI nail polish to swatch and review for you - OPI Life Gave Me Lemons from the new OPI Neon Collection.
Life Gave Me Lemons is neon yellow with green undertones.
The formula was good - it applied like a crelly and it was a little streaky on the first coat, but easily build-able with three thin coats. The opacity was okay - as good as one can expect from a yellow nail polish.
I really like how bright and summer-y with polish is.

22 Tropical
Hey guys!
Today I have another manicure for the June Nail Art Challenge for you - a Tropical manicure!
When I think of something tropical, I think of beautiful sunset over a small island with palm trees. So that was my inspiration for my manicure.
I started of with a sunset gradient using the orange polish Maybelline Coral Craze and the yellow polish Ciaté Big Yellow Taxi. Afterwards I used a small nail art brush and the black polish Essie Licorice to freehand on the island and palm tree silhouette.
I am really happy with the sunset gradient, but I do not like how the palm tree silhouette turned out.

Hi girls!
Today I made some quick easter nail art - a cute and simple baby chick manicure.
I started off with a yellow base of Ciaté Big Yellow Taxi on all of my nails. Afterwards I followed this tutorial by Elizabeth at Did My Nails, using Maybelline Coral Craze for the orange beaks and feet.
This manicure is so easy to do and really cute and pretty at the same time - I love it.

Animal Themed Manicure #6
Hello ladies!
Sorry for not having posted anything all week. I wore Essie Toggle to the Top most of the week, but the weather really sucks in Denmark these days, so the sun wasn't out any of the days I wore it and I didn't get to take any pictures of it on. It is really pretty though.
But today I have some more animal themed nail art to show you guys.
This time it's a bumble bee manicure!
I started off with a yellow base on all my fingers with two to three layers of Ciaté Big Yellow Taxi. Afterwards I used my Black Barry M Nail Art Pen to draw the black lines on my little finger, index finger and thumb and to draw the little bee and its track on my two accent nails. Lasty I used my White Barry M Nail Art Pen to draw some details on the bumble bee.
It may sound difficult, but it was surprisingly easy.
Do you like this animal manicure, girls?
