Hey guys!
Today I have some more Then and Now nail art to share with you!
I recreated this mix and match leopard and striped manicure from April of 2014.
For the leopard nails I started off with a taupe nude base of piCture pOlish Nougat on my middle finger, ring finger, and thumb. Afterwards I followed my own tutorial using the brown OPI Going My Way or Nor-Way?, the black Essie Licorice, and a dotting tool to create the leopard print.
For the striped nails I started off with a white base of Essence Wild White Ways on my pointer and pinky. Afterwards I used some thick striping tape and Essie Licorice to create the stripes.
Close up!
And here is a comparison of Then and Now!
I am so happy with my development these last three years! I think the 'Now' manicure is much better than the 'Then' manicure.
What do you guys think about this nail art? Let me know in the comments!
Stay polished.

More Striping Tape
Hey guys!
Today I have another simple striping tape manicure to share with you!
For the manicure I started off with a coral base of Essie Tart Deco on all my nails. Afterwards I applied gold striping tape in different sizes across my nails.
Close up!
For some weird reason the gold striping tape faded into silver after I applied top coat.

12 Days of Christmas: Candy Canes
Hey guys!
Time for the second manicure for my 12 Days of Christmas nail art series!
Today I made some candy cane nail art inspired by More Nail Polish.
For the manicure I started off with a mint green base with red and white glitter of piCture pOlish Minty. Afterwards I freehanded the candy cane stripes with a thin nail art brush and watered down acrylic paint in red and white.
And here it is next to my home-made matching christmas ornament!
I love candy canes and I love how it translates into this amazing manicure!

Fancy Friday: Bikini-inspired
Hello ladies!
Today I have some Fancy Friday nail art to show you guys!
This time the Fancy Friday challenge is matching a bikini! Down below is the bikini I decided to be inspired by with the nail polishes I decided to use.
For the manicure I started off with a pink base of Essie Lovie Dovie. Afterwards I used a nail art striper and the blue nail polish Sally Hansen Pacific Blue (original formula) to draw on the horizontal stripes.
I really like how these turned out and how well they are matching my bikini!

Fancy Friday: Neon
Hello ladies!
Today I have another Fancy Friday manicure for you guys.
This time the Fancy Friday challenge is neon and I decided to use my newest neon polish: China Glaze Flip Flip Fantasy.
For the manicure I started off with a neon orange base of China Glaze Flip Flip Fantasy. Afterwards I used a small nail art brush and the white polish Essie Blanc to paint on vertical lines.
I think my nails look kinda like lollipops or little pieces of candy!

Snow White
Hey guys!
When we finish high school in Denmark we dress up, drink and party on all of our last school day (before finals). My last school day is just around the corner (this tuesday) and I am going to dress up as Snow White. My costume inspired me to make some simple Snow White nail art today!
For this design I used a small nail art brush to freehand on the stripes and bows with Essie Mesmerize (blue), Essie Lollipop (red), Essie No Place Like Chrome (silver), Essie Licorice (black), OPI Alpine Snow (white) and Ciaté Big Yellow Taxi (yellow).
I really love how this turned out! So simple, but so cute and funny!

Mix and Match
Hello ladies!
Today I made some nail art for you guys! It is mix and match manicure with oversized patterns inspired by this manicure by Sarah at Chalkboard Nails.
For the leopard nails I started off with a tan nude base. Afterwards I used a big dotting tool to dot on some random dots and shapes with a brown nail polish. Lastly I used a smaller dotting tool and a black nail polish to partly frame the random shapes with little, black c-shapes.
For the striped nails I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow. When that was completely dry I added some regular tape cut out in small strips, and painted over them with Essie Licorice. Afterwards I removed the tape to reveal the base colour, that was left untouched underneath.
I LOVE this manicure! It is just so awesome!

20 Floral
Hey guys!
Another day, another challenge in the February Nail Art Challenge.
This time it is a floral manicure!
I started off with a pastel green base of Etude House GR701 on all of my nails. Afterwards I used some white nail polish and a striper to paint on stripes on all of my nails, except for my two accent nails, where I freehanded on some roses following this tutorial by Sam at The Nailasaurus, with the following colours: Essie Lollipop (red), Essie Bordeaux (self-explanatory), Tiger Nail Polish #18 (pink) and Essie Pretty Edgy (green).
I really love the mix of patterns in this manicure.
