Palate Cleanser

Hey guys!

Today I have some simple nail art to share with you! I really needed something simple on my nails to act like a palate cleanser for me.

For the manicure I started off with a taupe nude base of Essie Go Go Geisha on all my nails. Afterwards I used a small nail art brush and Dance Legend Silver Leaf top coat to create the glitter gradient.

I love a simple glitter gradient as this one!

Negative Space

Hey guys!

Today I have some simple nail art to share with you featuring my signature accent nail!

For the manicure I started off with a deep blue base of Essie Style Cartel on all my nails. On my ring finger I only painted two thirds of the nail, cleaned op the edge of the design with a small nail art brush dipped in acetone, and finally added a piece of silver striping tape.

I don't think I will ever get tired of this accent nail!

Marble

Hey guys!

Today I have some stunning marble nails to share with you!
This nail art is actually a recreation of this mani I did last year.

For the manicure I started off with a white base of Essence Wild White Ways on my ring finger and pinky, and a red base of Essie Really Red on my middle finger, pointer, and thumb. For the marble nails I followed this tutorial by The Nailasaurus using Essence Wild White Ways, the grey polish OPI Embrace the Gray, and the black polish Essie Licorice. To finish everything off I added a thick piece of silver striping tape to my ring finger.

I love this marble technique - I have to try it out with some other colors soon!

More Then and Now

Hey guys!

Today I have some more Then and Now nail art to share with you!
I recreated this mix and match glitter and striping tape manicure from 2014.

For the manicure I started off with a dusty purple base of Essie Warm & Toasty Turtleneck on all my nails. Afterwards I used the silver glitter Essie Set in Stones to create a glitter gradient on my middle and ring finger. On my other nails I placed some random lines of silver striping tape across the nails.

And here is a comparison of Then and Now!

I remember much I loved this manicure three years ago - and it is just as pretty today!

Essence Pure Beauty

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of the stunning Essence Pure Beauty to share with you!
Pure Beauty is a nude creme polish with a muted pink undertone.

The formula on this polish is a little on the thick side, which makes it a bit difficult to apply to the nails. It does not run anywhere though, which is nice. The opacity is great and it is opaque in two coats.

I think this color is both pretty and chic!

Striping Tape

Hey guys!

Today I have a fun skittlette featuring lots and lots of striping tape inspired by my own skittlette from a few years ago and by @missbellatracey!

For the manicure I started off with a mint green base of OPI That's Hularious on all my nails except for my pinky which I covered completely in rows of silver and holographic silver striping tape. On my middle and ring finger I applied one line of holographic striping tape to make a french line.

This manicure is so much fun!

piCture pOlish Blue

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of piCture pOlish Blue.
Blue is a bright cobalt blue creme (it is actually a dupe to Chanel Vibrato - let me know if you want a comparison).

The formula is amazing on this polish! It stays exactly where you put it, which makes it incredibly easy to work with. The opacity is good and it needs two coats to be completely opaque.

I always gravitate towards this shade of blue - seriously so beautiful!

ILNP Mega (S)

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of the beautiful ILNP Mega (S) to share with you!
Mega (S) is a silver holo (it is a perfect mix of linear and scattered holo).

The formula is perfect - it is not too thick and not too thin, and it glides onto the nail with ease. The opacity is good, but it needs three layers to be completely opaque.
The holographic effect on this one is crazy and I am so in love with the mix between linear and scattered holo.

Hey guys!

Today I made a skittlette inspired by the very first skittlette I ever made!

For the manicure I started off with a blue base of Sally Hansen Pacific Blue on my pointer and thumb, a black base of Essie Licorice on my middle and ring finger, and a textured silver base of OPI It's Frosty Outside on my pinky. Afterwards I added the polka dots to my middle and ring finger using white acrylic paint and a small dotting tool. To finish everything off I placed small, silver studs on top of a few of the polka dots on my ring and middle finger.

Hey guys!

Today I have some more Christmas nail art to share with you - Christmas presents!
This is inspired by my own design from last year!

For the manicure I stamped different Christmas designs from the MoYou London Festive 06 plate in different colors. Oy-Mak. To finish the present I used striping tape in different colors.
