Hey guys!
Today I have some lead light nail art inspired by one of my old manicures and by Anna Gorelova to share with you!
For the manicure I started off with a white base of Essence Wild White Ways. Afterwards I stamped the leaves with MoYou London Tropical 06 stamping plate and the black polish Essie Licorice. Lastly I colored in the leaves with OPI Chromatic Orange, OPI Pen & Pink, and OPI Purple Perspective.
Close up!
I will never get tired of this manicure!

Orange is the New Black
Hey guys!
A year ago I made this Orange is the New Black nail art inspired by a manicure Aleida Diaz wore in episode 7, season 4. This year I binge-watched the entire fifth season and found some more Aleida Diaz nail art to be inspired by!
For the manicure I started off with a white base of Essence Wild White Ways on all my nails. Afterwards I used the dry brush technique to create a colorful background with OPI Be Magentale With Me, OPI Don't Violet Me Down, and OPI I'm Never Amberrassed. Lastly I freehanded the leopard dots with a small dotting tool and black nail polish.
Close up!
And here is my inspiration!
It is so fun to find nail art inspiration in weird and unexpected places like this!

Then and Now
Hey guys!
Today I recreated my absolute most popular manicure ever - this rose gold french manicure.
For the manicure I started off with a milky base of Essie Adore-A-Ball on all my nails. Afterwards I freehanded the rose gold tips with the beautiful Essie Penny Talk.
I think it is so fun that this is my most popular manicure ever (it is really trending on Pinterest), because it is in no way the manicure I am most proud off!

Essie Treat Love & Color
Hey guys!
Today I have a review of two of the four new Treat Love & Color shades by Essie.
The Treat Love & Color series are nail strengtheners with a little color and a subtle shimmer.
First off I have Laven-dearly to share with you!
Laven-dearly is a sheer lavender shade with a subtle purple and magenta shimmer.
Next is Treat Me Bright, which is a sheer milky white with a subtle aqua blue and purple shimmer.
Close up!
And now for the review!
Essie recommends using two coats of these on clean and dry nails, but I only used one layer for the swatches above, as I think it is prettier that way.
These Treat Love & Color polishes gives the nails a beautiful barely-there look with a subtle shimmer, which is also totally work appropriate. I love how you can strengthen your nails while they get a beautiful polished look at the same time.
The dry time is amazing as well which is perfect, as you can apply a quick coat of this and be out the door in no time.

Your Rainbow Panorama
Hey guys!
Today I have some nail art inspired by my an art piece at my favourite art museum - Your Rainbow Panorama by Ólafur Elìasson at ARoS!
For the manicure I started off with a light blue base of Deborah Lippmann Blue Orchid on all my nails. Afterwards I sponged on the clouds with a make-up sponge and a white polish. Then I freehanded the panorama and the small people inside of it with watered-down black acrylic paint and a small nail art brush. Finally I colored in the panorama using OPI Color Paints.
And here it is next to ARoS!

Essie Sugar Daddy
Hey guys!
Today I have a swatch and review of the beautiful shade Essie Sugar Daddy (that name though) - one of the polishes I recently won.
Sugar Daddy is a sheer pink.
The formula is great and it is easy to apply and control (unlike most sheer shades like this one).
For the picture below I used two to three coats.
I love these barely there shades - they are perfect for french manicures!

Stamping
Hello ladies!
Today I have some awesome nail art to share with you guys - a highlighter inspired skittlette!
For the manicure I started off with a white base of piCture pOlish Bright White on all my nails. Afterwards I stamped the text on my middle and ring finger with my new stamper (below), Mundo de Uñas Black, and MoYou London CookBook Plate 06. Then I highlighted some of the words with the sheer OPI Primarily Yellow and OPI Pen & Pink. To finish off the skittlette I applied China Glaze Fairy Dust to my pinky.
The stamper I used for this nail art is from Born Pretty Store (#21123 in the color silver).
This stamper is beautiful, really squishy, and easy to use! I already ordered some more stamper heads so I can make lots of stamping decals!
If you want to buy something in Born Pretty Store, remember to use my coupon code SXKQ10 for 10% off your entire order and free international shipping! You can check out their nail art items here!
This manicure is the perfect back to school manicure!

Lead Light
Hello ladies!
Today I made a manicure using the lead light technique with three of the OPI Color Paints inspired by Anna Gorelova.
For the manicure I started off with a white base of piCture pOlish Bright White on all my nails. Afterwards I stamped the leaf design with MoYou London Tropical Plate 06 and Mundo de Uñas Black. Then I used a small nail art brush and the following OPI Color Paints to fill in the stamping: Purple Perspective, Pen & Pink, and Chromatic Orange.
Ever since I saw the original manicure by Anna I knew I had to recreate it - and I just love how it turned out!

Fancy Friday: Pond Mani
Hello ladies!
Today it is time for another Fancy Friday challenge!
The theme (which I chose) is pond mani. I remade this manicure no less than four times and I am still not quite happy with the result.
For the manicure I alternated between a layer of the purple sheer tint OPI Don't Violet Me Down and stamping with Mundo de Uñas White and MoYou London Pro Plate 07 to make the pond effect. I ended up with two layers of OPI Don't Violet Me Down and three layers of stamping.
I love the pond mani technique, but it is really hard and time-consuming!

Pretty Edgy
Hey guys!
Today I have an edgy skittlette to show you!
The nail art on my ring finger and pinky is inspired by @sloteazzy!
For the manicure I started off with a black base of Essie Licorice on my middle finger, pointer, and thumb and a sheer black base of a mix between Essie Good to Go! and Essie Licorice on my ring finger and pinky. Afterwards I used a small nail art brush, a dotting tool and black acrylic paint to freehand the nail art on my ring finger and pinky. To finish off the skittlette I applied the silver chain to my middle finger.
The chain I used for this nail art is from Born Pretty Store. It comes in a pack (#5363 in the color Silver 1.3mm) with over 1 meter of chain.
I already have a lot of other ideas for nail art featuring the chain, so I am really happy I got this. Besides they are really edgy, easy to use and cheap (only $2.29!).
If you want to buy something from Born Pretty Store, remember to use my coupon code SXKQ10 to get 10% off your entire order and free international shipping. Click here to check out their nail art items.

Fancy Friday: Lead Light
Hello ladies!
Today I have some Fancy Friday nail art to share with you guys.
Today the challenge is lead light, which is a technique by Messy Mansion, where you add color to your stamping design with sheer nail polishes.
For the manicure I started off with a white base of Essie Blanc on all my nails. Afterwards I stamped the floral design on my middle and ring finger with MoYou London Pro plate collection 07 and Mundo de Uñas black stamping polish. Then I colored in the stamping design with the sheer nail polishes OPI Sheer Tints: I'm Never Ambarassed (yellow), Be Magentale With Me (pink), Don't Violet Me Down (purple) and I Can Teal You Like Me (blue). To finish off the skittlette manicure I added the silver glitter China Glaze Fairy Dust to my little finger.
I like the sketchy style of this nail art.

I started off by freehanding on the white tips with Essie Blanc (white). Afterwards I added two layers of Essie Mademoiselle (sheer pink) to make the manicure look more natural.
