Hey guys!
Today I have some simple negative space nail art featuring two of my absolute favorite polishes!
For the manicure I started off with a red base of Essie Really Red on all my nails - on my ring finger and pinky I only painted part of the nail and cleaned up the edges of the negative space nail art with a clean-up brush dipped in acetone. Afterwards I applied Essie Shine of the Times on my pinky and ring finger.
Close up!
I am in LOVE with this nail art!
What do you guys think about this negative space manicure? Let me know in the comments.

Oil Droplets
Hey guys!
Today I have some very simple nail art to share with you!
For the manicure I started off with a stunning red-toned berry base of Essence True Love. Afterwards I added the two studs (that kinda looks like oil droplets) to my ring finger.
Close up!
I am really busy at the moment, so unfortunately I don't have a lot of time for nail art.

Fall
Hey guys!
Today I have some fall stamping nail art to share with you!
For the manicure I started off with an off-white base of Barry M Coconut on all my nails. Afterwards I used the Born Pretty BPL-024 stamping plate and a lot of different polishes (the mustard yellow Barry M Mustard, the burnt orange OPI It's a Piazza Cake, the green Essie Going Incognito, and the red Essie Dress to Kilt).
Close up!
It was mostly the yellow and the orange polish that showed up on the stamp, but I still really like how it turned out anyways!

Marble
Hey guys!
Today I have some stunning marble nails to share with you!
This nail art is actually a recreation of this mani I did last year.
For the manicure I started off with a white base of Essence Wild White Ways on my ring finger and pinky, and a red base of Essie Really Red on my middle finger, pointer, and thumb. For the marble nails I followed this tutorial by The Nailasaurus using Essence Wild White Ways, the grey polish OPI Embrace the Gray, and the black polish Essie Licorice. To finish everything off I added a thick piece of silver striping tape to my ring finger.
Close up!
I love this marble technique - I have to try it out with some other colors soon!

Skittlette
Hey guys!
Today I have a skittlette featuring some saran wrap nail art to share with you!
For the manicure I started off with a neon red base of Cirque Colors Game Over on my pointer and thumb, a coral base of Essence Indian Summer on my middle and ring finger, and a gold shimmer base of Essie Getting Groovy on my pinky. On my middle and ring finger I used the three aforementioned polishes and some saran wrap to create the saran wrap design.
My camera can't even handle the neon! Here's a closer look!
It has been way too long since I last did a skittlette!

Then and Now
Hey guys!
Today I have some Then and Now manicures to share with you!
I recreated this polka dot manicure from 2014.
For the manicure I started off with a red base of Essie Lollipop on all my nails. Afterwards I used a dotting tool and some watered-down white acrylic paint to create the polka dots.
Close up!
And here is a comparison of Then and Now.
I am actually more proud of my improvement in photo-editing and hand-posing than my improvement in nail art skills!

Dots
Hey guys!
Today I want to share some simple, geometrical nail art with you! The nail art was inspired by the talented @lackfein.
For the manicure I started off with a mint green base of Essie Mint Candy Apple on all my nails. The dots is made with a dotting tool, the red polish Essie Really Red, and the white polish Essence Wild White Ways, by dotting the polishes onto a nail art mat and letting them dry. I then cut the dots in half and placed them on my middle and ring finger.
I love how these turned out - so simple, yet so chic!

piCture pOlish O'Hara
Hey guys!
Today I have a swatch and review of piCture pOlish O'Hara to share with you!
O'Hara is a red crelly with a scattered holo.
The formula is amazing - it is a little on the thick side, but incredibly easy to control and apply to the nails. The opacity is great as well and it only needs two coats to be completely opaque. And even though this polish is packed with holo, it is as easy to remove as any creme polish is.
This polish is one of my favorites in my entire collection, so it is about damn time that I did a proper review of it! It is so stunning!
What do you guys think about this shade? Let me know in the comments.

China Glaze Flame-Boyant
Hey guys!
Today I have a swatch and review of China Glaze Flame-Boyant to share with you!
Flame-Boyant is a bright (almost neon) red creme.
The formula on this polish is perfect - it is a breeze to apply and even though it is on the thin side, it is not runny at all. The polish is really self-levelling, which means no streaks and an even opacity on the first coat. It did need two coats to be completely opaque though, but that is to be expected of shades like this. It dries down to a satin finish, so I do recommend a top coat to make it shine.
I think this shade is incredibly beautiful and perfect for summer!

Graduation
Hey guys!
Three years ago I graduated from the Danish gymnasium and today it is my baby brothers turn! That is why I made some nail art for the special occasion inspired by the student cap and by Katrines Negle!
For the manicure I started off with a bordeaux base of Cirque Colors Garnet on all my nails, except for my ring finger which I painted white with Essence Wild White Ways. Afterwards I freehanded the student cap inspired nail art on my ring finger with a small nail art brush, the bordeaux polish Essie Bordeaux, and the black polish Essie Licorice. To finish everything off I added a small gold stud.
And here's a picture with my own student cap!
I think this nail art turned out so cute and perfect for the occasion!

Le Mini Macaron Gel Manicure Kit
Hey guys!
Today I have a swatch and review of the Gel Manicure Kit from Le Mini Macaron in the color Cherry Red.
This kit is SPONSORED but everything I write about it is my honest opinion.
The kit contains an LED lamp with USB-cable and power supply, a 10 ml bottle of gel polish, a cuticle pusher, a mini nail file, 10 remover pads and instruction folders.
A cool thing about this set is that the tools (including the LED lamp) matches the color of the gel polish!
When reading this review bear in mind that this is my first time ever trying gel polish.
First off, this gel polish is opaque, shiny, leveled out and beautiful in two coats. I did find the gel polish a little hard to work with though. It shrank away from the cuticle area and the tips of the nails after application. This made it hard to apply as I was trying to apply it as close to my cuticle area as possible without touching the cuticles at the same time. Other than that the formula was smooth and easy to work with.
The dry time is great (30 seconds between each layer), but you can only cure one nail at the time, which slows the process down a lot. A good tip is to apply polish to the next nail while another nail is curing in the LED lamp. But I would still say that regular nail polish is faster to apply when using a quick drying top coat.
My last concern is that my nails were stinging a little bit when curing in the LED lamp. I do not know if this is normal, as I have never tried gel polish before, but it felt uncomfortable nonetheless.
I did not have the opportunity to test the lasting time on this polish (they promise up to 10 days lasting time), but let me know if you would like me to test it!

For the manicure I started off with a red base of the beautiful Essie Happy Wife Happy Life on all my nails. To finish everything off I applied a rectangular rhinestone to my ring finger.

Cirque Colors Facets Collection | My Picks
Hey guys!
Happy New Year!
This year's first blog post is swatches and reviews of my picks from the new limited edition Cirque Colors Facets collection.
These polishes are sponsored by minta.dk but everything I write about them is my honest opinion.
First up is Smoky Quartz.
Smoky Quartz is a holographic polish with a black base that makes the holographic flakes look gold - it is seriously so beautiful. This polish needs two easy coats to be completely opaque. It applies like a dream and it has the perfect consistency - not too thick and not too thin.
Close up!
Next I have Carnet, which is a stunning bordeaux polish with silver holographic flakes.
This one has almost the same formula and opacity as Smoky Quartz, so it only needs two layers of polish to achieve full opacity.
Close up!
Lastly is Morganite.
Morganite is a gorgeous rose gold polish filled with holographic flakes.
It needs three coats to be completely opaque and the formula on this one is a little thinner compared to the other two, but the application and dry time is still amazing.
Close up!
And that's my picks from the Facets collection - they are all so beautiful!
