Hello ladies!
Again, again the lovely Milena of Nail That Design and I made twin nails together!
This time we decided to make some freehand nail art featuring strawberries.
For the manicure I started off with a mint green base of OPI That's Hula-rious on all my nails. Afterwards I freehanded the strawberries and flowers on my middle and ring finger with a small nail art brush and acrylic paint in red, green, white, and yellow. To finish off the skittlette I applied the gold glitter China Glaze Golden Enchantment to my pinky.
Milena and I both think our own manicure is a nail fail, so for fun we call this twin fails!
What do you guys think about our twin nails? Let me know in the comments!
Stay polished.

Pastel Galaxy
Hello ladies!
Today the sweet Milena of Nail That Design and I made another pair of twin nails together - this time we made a pastel galaxy manicure.
You can check out Milenas blogpost here!
For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on all my nails. Afterwards I used a make-up sponge dabbed with random blobs of nail polish (piCture pOlish Chillax, piCture pOlish Instinct, and piCture pOlish Mad Magenta) followed by a white layer to tone them down and make them more pastel, to make the gradient effect. Then I applied the holographic glitter China Glaze Fairy Dust to all my nails. To finish everything off I used a small dotting tool, a small nail art brush and the white nail polish to add small planets and stars.
I really like how our pastel galaxy manicures turned out!
What do you guys think about these twin nails? Let me know in the comments!

Fancy Friday: Sand
Hello ladies!
Today it is time for another Fancy Friday manicure!
This week's challenge is sand and/or water. I chose sand and made this liquid sand manicure inspired by Nail That Design.
For the manicure I started off with a mint base of Essie Blossom Dandy on all my nails. When that was completely dry I used striping that a the silver liquid sand polish OPI It's Frosty Outside to make triangles going down the nails from the cuticle-area.
I actually made a water-inspired manicure before this one but is was the biggest nail fail ever!
What do you guys think about this liquid sand nail art? Let me know in the comments!

Simplicity
Hey guys!
Today I have a very simple manicure to show you.
I used the mint green OPI That's Hula-rious from the OPI Hawaii collection for spring 2015. The formula is amazing - it applies like butter - and it only needs two coats to be completely opaque!
The nail decoration I used for this manicure is from Born Pretty Store. It comes in a two-pack (#10749 in the pattern #21).
I have been thinking about getting these nail decoration for a long time and I am so glad I finally did - they are so pretty and really easy to use!
If you want to buy something in Born Pretty Store remember to use my coupon code SXKQ10 to receive 10% off your entire order and free international shipping. Check out their nail art products here.

Mani Swap
Hi girls!
Today I have a Mani Swap that I made with @nailsbyselina to show you guys!
She recreated this manicure by me, and I recreated this manicure by her.
For the manicure I started off with a mint green base of OPI That's Hula-rious on all my finger except for my ring finger, which I painted black with Essie Licorice. Afterwards I used different sized dotting tools to make different sized dots in the opposite colors as on my middle and ring finger.
It was fun recreating Selinas manicure!

Most Used Polishes
Hello ladies!
Today I would like to show you guys my most used polishes!
With the exception of my base coat (OPI Nail Envy), top coat (Seche Vite), matte top coat (Essie Matte About You), cuticle oil (Essie Abricot Cuticle Oil), white polish (OPI Alpine Snow), and black polish (Essie Licorice) - each of which I went through several bottles of - these are my most used polishes!
First off is the blue and green tones.
Luckily I have a back-up for Sally Hansen Pacific Blue!
Now into the pink and red tones.
I have also used a lot of the two glitters Essie Set in Stones and China Glaze Fairy Dust, but not nearly as much as I have used the above polishes.
I did not realize how much I have actually used of these polishes before I lined them up for the pictures!
Which polishes have you guys used the most? Let me know in the comments!

April Nail Art Challenge: Fan Brush
Hi girls!
Today in the April Nail Art Challenge with Fancy Friday the challenge is fan brush and I made this simple skittlette.
For the manicure I started off with a mint green base of Essie Blossom Dandy on all my nails. Afterwards I used a fan brush and Essie Garden Variety to make the dry brush effect on my middle and ring finger. To finish off the skittlette I applied China Glaze Fairy Dust to my pinky.
I know this is not a "classical" fan brush manicure, but I made another manicure and it was a major nail fail, so I made this one instead!

April Nail Art Challenge: Nimbus
Hey guys!
Today it is time for another manicure for the April Nail Art Challenge with Fancy Friday!
The challenge today is nimbus and I made an easter-themed skittlette (as I wore this manicure for an easter lunch).
For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on my middle finger, ring finger, and pinky, and a yellow base of OPI I Just Can't Cope-Acabana on my pointer and thumb. Afterwards I followed this tutorial by Sammy of The Nailasaurus using the following polishes: OPI I Just Can't Cope-Acabana (yellow), Essie Blossom Dandy (mint), and Essie Mojito Madness (green). To finish off the skittlette I applied China Glaze Fairy Dust to my pinky.
It is the first time I tried making a nimbus manicure, but definitely not the last!

Decisions, decisions
Hey guys!
I have so many untried polishes right now, I don't even know which one(s) to try on first (a real first world problem, right?)! I actually made a deal with myself that I won't buy any more nail polish until I have tried them all!
Today I would like to share two of my untrieds with you guys: Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pop Art and piCture pOlish Minty.
Yves Saint Laurent is a red crelly (a mix of creme and jelly - read more about it here) that is opaque in two thin coats. I love bright reds so of course I needed this one in my life!
piCture pOlish Minty is a mint green crelly with matte white and dark pink glitter and a scattered holographic shimmer - so unique.
I love these two together!
What do you guys think about this combination? Let me know in the comments!

Animal Themed Manicure #4
Hi girls!
Tonight I made some more animal themed nail art for you guys.
This time it is Ladybug Nails!
I started off with a red base of two layers of Essie Lollipop, except for my two accent nails, which I painted mint green with two layers of Essie Mint Candy Apple.
For the red ladybug nails I used my Black Barry M Nail Art Pen, various sized dotting tools, a black nail polish and a white nail polish for the details on the ladybugs.
For the mint green accent nails I used a big dotting tool, the red Essie Lollipop and my Black Barry M Nail Art Pen to paint on small ladybugs around the nail.
I really love how this turned out - So cute and pretty!
