Dots

Hey guys!

Today I want to share some simple, geometrical nail art with you! The nail art was inspired by the talented @lackfein.

For the manicure I started off with a mint green base of Essie Mint Candy Apple on all my nails. The dots is made with a dotting tool, the red polish Essie Really Red, and the white polish Essence Wild White Ways, by dotting the polishes onto a nail art mat and letting them dry. I then cut the dots in half and placed them on my middle and ring finger.

I love how these turned out - so simple, yet so chic!

Striping Tape

Hey guys!

Today I have a fun skittlette featuring lots and lots of striping tape inspired by my own skittlette from a few years ago and by @missbellatracey!

For the manicure I started off with a mint green base of OPI That's Hularious on all my nails except for my pinky which I covered completely in rows of silver and holographic silver striping tape. On my middle and ring finger I applied one line of holographic striping tape to make a french line.

Stamping

Hey guys!

Today I have a fun negative space and stamping nail art inspired by @ludochka_t to share with you!

For the manicure I started off with a mint blue base of piCture pOlish Chillax on my pointer and thumb and a yellow base of piCture pOlish Sorbet on my pinky. On my middle and ring finger I used the same two polishes and some straight nail vinyls to create the negative space effect. Lastly I stamped the floral design on my middle and ring finger using MoYou London Pro 07 stamping plate and the black polish Essie Licorice.

I cannot decide if I think this is a nail fail or not!

Cirque Colors Vice 2016

Hey guys!

Today I have swatches of the new Cirque Colors Vice 2016 collection to share with you!
These polishes is sponsered by Minta.dk, but everything I write about them is my honest opinion.

First up I have High Roller.
High Roller is an awesome minty neon. The formula on this one is fantastic and it is opaque in two easy coats! Simply stunning.

Next is Rehab - a blurple (blue/purple) creme.
Another amazing formula with full opacity in two thin coats. It does dry a little matte, so I recommend a shiny top coat. Such a gorgeous shade.

Next up I have Electric Daisy, which is a neon yellow with strong green undertones.
This was the hardest polish to work with in the collection - it was streaky, uneven and needed three somewhat thick coats to be opaque. But look at that neon!

Time for Plastik!
Plastik is a bright magenta creme. The formula on this one is perfect - it glides on the nail like butter and it is opaque in two easy coats. I am in love with this color!

Next up is Sin City - an amazingly neon coral shade.
The formula on this one was great and it was opaque in two thin coats. It was really hard to capture true in color on pictures - it is just so neon!

Finally I have We Trippy, which is a holographic top coat.
I applied one thin coat on top of Plastik.

And here it is on top of Sin City (look at that neon and holographic explosion!).

I LOVE THIS COLLECTION! The colors are beautiful and (except for Electric Daisy) they are amazing to work with!

Scaled Gradient

Hey guys!

Today I have my very first scaled gradient to share with you!

I started off with a white base on all my nails. Afterwards I used a make-up sponge, piCture pOlish Sorbet, piCture pOlish Chillax and piCture pOlish Instinct to create a gradient on about half my nail. When that was completely dry (use a quick-drying top coat) I applied a chevron nail vinyl and used the make-up sponge and the same polishes to create the same gradient on the other half of my nail.

I am definitely trying this technique again - I really like it!

Matte!

I hope these nails will bring me luck for my exam.

Marble Stone

Hey guys!

Today I have a marble stone skittlette to share with you.

For the manicure I started off with a white base of CND Cream Puff on my middle finger, ring finger, and pinky. Afterwards I followed this tutorial by the Nailasaurus using the grey Essie Cocktail Bling, the black Essie Licorice and a clear jelly stamper. Then I applied piCture pOlish Chillax to my pointer and thumb. I finished off by removing part of the stone marble design on my pinky and placing a silver triangle stud on top of it.

My nails and my outfit!

I love this technique - I have never been able to make it look this much like stone marble until now!

Christmas Ornaments

Hey guys!

Today I have a DIY project to share with you - christmas ornaments made with nail polish inspired by cutepolish!

You need some plain glass ornaments and a lot of nail polish!

I found these plain glass ornaments at Panduro (a Danish hobby store).

First up is this snowflake ornament.
I used OPI Give Me Space as the base (on the inside of the ornament). Afterwards I stamped the snowflakes with MoYou London Festive 02 and Mundo de Uñas White. Lastly I placed glitters from Essie Set in Stones around the ornament and on the snowflakes.

Next up is this pepperminty ornament.
For the base on the inside of the ornament I used piCture pOlish Minty. Then I freehanded the candy canes with white and red acrylic paint.

Time for this glitter gradient ornament.
I started off with a red base of Essie Forever Yummy on the inside of the ornament. Afterwards I used a make-up sponge and Essie Beyond Cozy to make the gradient effect.

Next is this christmas tree inspired ornament.
I used Essie Going Incognito as the dark green base inside the ornament. Then I sponged on Essie Set in Stones, dotted the tinsels with Essie No Place Like Chrome and Essie Good as Gold, and finally freehanded the christmas balls with Essie Forever Yummy and piCture pOlish Bridget.

Last up is this jingle bell ornament.
I started off with China Glaze Golden Enchantment on the inside of the ornament. While that was still a little wet I added the gold bells so that they stick to the sides of the ornament.

And that's it! I still have one ornament with a white base and I do not know what yo do with it. Do you guys have any ideas? And what do you guys think about this DIY?

Appeal4

Hi girls!

A few days ago I bought some amazing Appeal4 polishes, so today I have some swatches to share with you guys!

First up is Soft Wave, which is a mint green creme.
The formula was great and it was easy to apply. The opacity was (surprisingly) amazing and it was opaque in two thicker coats!
This color is so delicate and pretty!

Next up is Bay of Cadiz - a light lemon yellow creme.
The formula on this one was good - a little runny, but not so much it was floating my cuticles. It was opaque in three coats.
I love this yellow - I have nothing like it in my collection!

Lastly I have Nightingale's Heart, which is a neon red creme.
The formula was great. It was a little thin for my liking, but it was easy to apply and self-leveled amazingly. The opacity was good as well and it was opaque in two to three coats (I applied two coats on my pointer, but three on my middle finger and pinky).
This shade of red is my absolute favorite!

I know these colors are really bright and summer-y, but I am not quite ready for fall yet!

Fancy Friday: Dreams

Hello ladies!

Today I have another Fancy Friday manicure to share with you guys and the challenge this week (as chosen by me) is dreams!

I chose to freehand little piCture pOlish bottles on my nails inspired by Katharina of @cottonconey, because one of my biggest dreams is to make a collaboration shade with piCture pOlish! I have even had a note on my phone with my polish idea for months! If I could make a collaboration shade, I would call it Sunshine and it should be yellow (like OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana) with their signature scattered holo. It is inspired by good feelings and happiness!

For the manicure I started off with a white base of piCture pOlish Bright White on all my nails. Afterwards I freehanded the little piCture polish bottles with a small nail art brush, black acrylic paint and the following polishes: Forget Me Not (blue), O'hara (red), Enchanting (green), Paris (coral), Hussy (purple), and Chillax (mint). To finish off the skittlette I applied piCture pOlish Holiday to my pinky.

I think these little bottles are so cute!

Hey guys!

Today I made an awesome gradient inspired by amina2inspire!

For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow. Afterwards I used a make-up sponge and the following polishes to make the gradient effect: Sally Hansen Pacific Blue (original), piCture pOlish Instinct, and OPI That's Hula-rious.

I think this color combination is really cool!
