Hey guys!
Today I have some more Then and Now nail art to share with you!
I recreated this mix and match glitter and striping tape manicure from 2014.
For the manicure I started off with a dusty purple base of Essie Warm & Toasty Turtleneck on all my nails. Afterwards I used the silver glitter Essie Set in Stones to create a glitter gradient on my middle and ring finger. On my other nails I placed some random lines of silver striping tape across the nails.
And here is a comparison of Then and Now!
I remember much I loved this manicure three years ago - and it is just as pretty today!
What do you guys think about this Then and Now nail art? Let me know in the comments.
Stay polished.

Sweater
Hey guys!
Today I have some cozy sweater nail art to share with you!
For the manicure I started off with a dusty lavender base of Essie Warm & Toasty Turtleneck on all my nails except for my pinky which I painted with the burnt purple Essie Smokin' Hot. Afterwards I stamped the sweater design on my middle and ring finger using MoYou London Fashionista 03 stamping plate and Essie Smokin' Hot.
Close up!
This skittlette is perfect for these cold winter months!

Cirque Colors Storm King
Hey guys!
Today I have a swatch and review of Cirque Colors Storm King (that I got sponsored from minta.dk) to share with you!
The formula is amazingly smooth and easy to apply. It is opaque in two coats and it dries in no time, which makes for a quick manicure.
I made an easy negative space accent nail featuring bronze striping tape to complete this simple manicure.
I love this polish - I think it is perfect for winter!

Essie Go Go Geisha
Hey guys!
Today I have a swatch and review of the unique Essie Go Go Geisha from the new Essie Fall 2016 collection to share with you!
Go Go Geisha is a pink-leaning dusty nude creme polish.
The formula is perfect! It is a little on the thicker side, but I tend to like it that way. The opacity is great for such a light shade and it is opaque in two easy coats.
Close up!
I am in love with this unique shade!

Halloween
Hey guys!
Today I have some Halloween nail art inspired by The Nail Trail to show you!
For the manicure I started off with a white base on all my nails. Afterwards I made a twilight gradient with Essie Smokin' Hot (dark purple), Essie Warm & Toasty Turtleneck (light purple), and By K. Dandelion (the barely visible yellow). Lastly I freehanded the graveyard silhouette with a small nail art brush and watered down black acrylic paint.
I love how this manicure turned out! So creepy!

Christian Louboutin Batignolles
Hello ladies!
Today I have a swatch and review of one of my new Christian Louboutin shades - Batignolles.
Batignolles is a dusty teal creme.
The formula was fantastic - so creamy and smooth! It was opaque in two thin and easy coats although one thicker layer might have been enough.
Everything about these Louboutin shades are perfect and they are worth every penny!

Denim
Hello ladies!
Today I have some nail art to show you guys - a denim-inspired skittlette featuring zipper water decals!
For the manicure I started off with a light blue base of Essie Salt Water Happy from the new Essie Summer 2015 collection on all my nails, except for my pinky which I painted blue with Essie Pret-A-Surfer from the same collection. Afterwards I made the denim effect using the dry brush techniques with the opposite polish than the base. To finish of the skittlette I applied silver studs to my pinky and silver zipper water decals to my middle and ring finger.
The water decals I used for this nail art is from Born Pretty Store. They come on a sheet (#4915 in the color Silver) with a lot of different zipper designs!
I love these zipper water decals because they are amazingly easy to use, so fun and pretty, and because they are budget-friendly (they are $2.27 for a sheet for many manicures)!
If you plan on buying something in Born Pretty Store remember to use my coupon code SXKQ10 for 10% off the entire order and free international shipping. Check out their nail art items here.
I love how this manicure turned out!
