Nail Art Never Posted

Hey guys!

Today I have a few manicures that I - for some reason or another - never posted on here.

First up I have this dotticure featuring marbled dots.
I never posted these because I thought it was too messy to look at with too many colours.

Close up!

Next up is this manicure using nail stencils and F.U.N Lacquer 24 Karat Diamond.
I didn't post this mani as the design on my ring finger is crooked.

Close up (look at those horrible bubbles)!

Next up I have this purple skittlette.
I don't quite remember why I did not post these, but I think it has something to do with the picture or the length of my nails.

Lastly I have a really, really old mani.
The reason I didn't post these is because they were ment to be part of a mani swap with Nail Geek that we never finished.

What do you guys think about these manicures? Do you understand why I never posted them or do you like some of them?
Let me know in the comments!

Exam

Hey guys!

Today and for the next five days I have my last exam this semester (wuhu)! As I always wear green to my exams, I made the dotticure below.

For the manicure I started off with the mint green nail polish OPI That's Hula-rious on all my nails. Afterwards I made the random dots across my nails using the rose gold polish Essie Penny Talk and a small dotting tool.

Matte!

I hope these nails will bring me luck for my exam.

Bruxelles!

Hey guys!

Today I am going to Bruxelles for a study trip - I am going to learn all about the European Parliament! For that purpose I made an EU flag inspired mani.

For the manicure I started off with a blue base of Essie Butler Please on all my nails. Afterwards I made the twelve "stars" (dots) of the flag - three on each nail - using Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow and a big dotting tool.

And here you can see the flag.

I am not sure how I fell about this nail art, but I am really looking forward to going to Bruxelles!

Pretty Edgy

Hey guys!

Today I have an edgy skittlette to show you!
The nail art on my ring finger and pinky is inspired by @sloteazzy!

For the manicure I started off with a black base of Essie Licorice on my middle finger, pointer, and thumb and a sheer black base of a mix between Essie Good to Go! and Essie Licorice on my ring finger and pinky. Afterwards I used a small nail art brush, a dotting tool and black acrylic paint to freehand the nail art on my ring finger and pinky. To finish off the skittlette I applied the silver chain to my middle finger.

The chain I used for this nail art is from Born Pretty Store. It comes in a pack (#5363 in the color Silver 1.3mm) with over 1 meter of chain.
I already have a lot of other ideas for nail art featuring the chain, so I am really happy I got this. Besides they are really edgy, easy to use and cheap (only $2.29!).

Funky Dots

Hey guys!

Today I have some simple nail art to show you - a funky dotticure featuring bow studs.

For the manicure I started off with a black base of Essie Licorice on my ring finger and pinky and a orange/coral base of Essie Peach Side Babe on my middle finger, pointer and thumb. Afterwards I made the dots on my ring finger and pinky with white acrylic paint and a dotting tool. To finish off the skittlette I applied a bow stud to my middle finger.

The bow stud I used for this manicure is from Born Pretty Store. It comes in a pack (#6415 in the pattern #12) of ten black bow studs with white dots.
I really like these bow studs as they are so cute, easy to use and because they are cheap (only $2.55 for the pack of ten!).

Mani Swap

Hi girls!

Today I have a Mani Swap that I made with @nailsbyselina to show you guys!
She recreated this manicure by me, and I recreated this manicure by her.

For the manicure I started off with a mint green base of OPI That's Hula-rious on all my finger except for my ring finger, which I painted black with Essie Licorice. Afterwards I used different sized dotting tools to make different sized dots in the opposite colors as on my middle and ring finger.

It was fun recreating Selinas manicure!

April Nail Art Challenge: Dots

Hi lovelies!

Today it is the last manicure for the April Nail Art Challenge with Fancy Friday!
The challenge today is dots and I made this simple skittlette with polka dots.

For the manicure I started off with a purple base of OPI Funky Dunkey on all my nails except for my pinky, which I painted with the metallic purple Models Own Chrome Mauve. Afterwards I used a medium sized dotting tool and the metallic purple Models Own Chrome Mauve to make the polka dots on my middle and ring finger.

I love a simple dotticure!

April Nail Art Challenge: Saran Wrap

Hey guys!

Today it is time for another manicure for the April Nail Art Challenge with Fancy Friday!
The challenge today is saran wrap, and I made this green saran wrap manicure featuring black dots.

For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on all my nails. Afterwards I used the brushes in the green Essie Mojito Madness and the light green Etude House GR701 to drop random blobs around the nails. Then I used the saran wrap to mix the polishes together. Lastly I made the black polka dots with a small dotting tool and black acrylic paint.

I love the saran wrap technique, but it is so messy!

April Nail Art Challenge: Family

Hey guys!

Time for another manicure for the April Nail Art Challenge with Fancy Friday!
Today the challenge is to be inspired by family. I told my little brother to pick out some polishes and he chose a blue, a green, a white, and a black. I made this dotticure inspired by Rijah with the polishes my little brother chose.

For the manicure I started off with a blue base of Essie Butler Please on all my nails except for my ring finger, which I painted white with OPI Alpine Snow. Afterwards I used a medium sized dotting tool and the two polishes I have already mentioned, the green By K. First Class, and the black Essie Licorice to make the dotticure.

I really like how the ring finger turned out, but I don't know if I like the color combination on the other nails.

Boyfriend's Birthday

Hi girls!

Today is my boyfriend's birthday!
That is why I told him he could choose the design and nail polishes for my manicure today. He chose polka dots in various blue shades - he even chose which size dotting tool I should use!

For the manicure I started off with a blue base of Essie Avenue Maintain on all my nails. Afterwards I used a medium sized dotting tool to dot on a polka dot pattern in a different blue shade on each nail. On my pinky I used Essie Aruba Blue, on my ring finger I used OPI Get Your Number, on my middle finger I used Ciaté Skinny Jeans, on my pointer I used piCture pOlish Dragonfly, and on my thumb I used Etude House BL601.

Even though this is not my style, I really like how this manicure turned out!
