Then & Now

Hello ladies!

Today I have some nail art to show you guys!
As my blog is turning one year in a month, I wanted to show you guys how much I have developed since I started getting into nail polish by recreating some nail art I did when I just got my dotting tools almost two years ago!

Then

For the 'Now' manicure I started off with a pink base of Essie Lovie Dovie on all my nails. Afterwards I used a small dotting tool and the black nail polish Essie Licorce to make polka dots on all my nails.

Now

I remember being really proud of the first manicure back when I made it, but today I am really proud of how much I have developed!
What do you girls think about my development these last years? Let me know in the comments!

Today I have some more nail art for the fruit theme Fabulous Fruits.
The nail art I did today is kiwi nails!

For the manicure I started off with a light green base of Etude House GR701. Afterwards I followed this tutorial by Sandi at cutepolish on YouTube using the white nail polish Essie Blanc, the black nail polish Essie Licorice and a small dotting tool.

I love how cute and summer-y these turned out!

Dotted Swirls

Hey guys!

Today I have another manicure for the Danish nail polish brand By K. to show you.
I am totally in love with nail art featuring dots these days, so I decided to make another dotted swirl manicure inspired by Lucy at Lucy's Stash!

For this manicure I started off with a light purple base of By K. no. 78 Lavender Blue. Afterwards I followed this tutorial using the purple polish OPI Funky Dunkey and the white polish Essie Blanc.

I love how this turned out and I wore it for my graduation party!

Polka Dots

Hi girls!

Today I made some more nail art for the Danish nail polish brand By K. using one of the polishes from their new summer collection - no. 79 Glacier.

I made a simple dotticure and started off with the turquoise nail polish Glacier. Afterwards I used a small dotting tool and the white nail polish Essie Blanc to dot on a polka dot pattern.

I always love a good dotticure and I think this one turned out perfect!

21 Aboriginal

Hello ladies!

Today I have yet another manicure for the June Nail Art Challenge for you guys - an Aboriginal manicure!

I was inspired by this manicure by Lucy at Lucy's Stash to make a dotted swirl manicure in warm earth shades.

For the manicure I started off with a dark maroon base of Medina by GOSH Burgundy. Afterwards I followed this tutorial using a small dotting tool, the white polish Essie Blanc and the taupe polish Essie Chinchilly.

I really like how this turned out! It is definitely not the last time I am making a dotted swirl manicure!

Fancy Friday: Skittlette

Hello ladies!

Today I have another Fancy Friday manicure for you guys!
Fancy Friday is a group of Danish nail polish keen bloggers, that follows a joint challenge in the world of nail polish and nail art every friday.

This time the Fancy Friday challenge is a skittlette manicure!
If you do not know what a skittlette manicure is, you can read about how Marta from Chit Chat Nails explains it here.

For the manicure I used the much discussed nail polish Sally Hansen Pacific Blue on my thumb and index finger, Essie Licorice with Essie Blanc dots on my middle and ring finger and OPI It's Frosty Outside on my pinky.

I am obsessed with how this turned out! I am definitely going to make more skittlette manicures in the future!

Dice, dice, baby!

Hey guys!

Today I wanted to do something simple, quick and easy, so I decided on doing a cool dice manicure.

I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow. Afterwards I used a medium sized dotting tool and some black nail polish to dot on the desired number of pips on each nail. And there you have it - so easy to do!

I really love how this turned out - so simple, but so cool!
Do you guys like this dice nail art as mush as I do? Let me know in the comments!

xoxo
