Hello ladies!

Today I made the cutest christmas nail art ever - little reindeers with Rudolph as an accent nail!
I was inspired by TrendyPolish on Instagram.

Then I painted on the antlers with the dark brown Essie Partner in Crime and a small nail art brush. Fancy Friday: Christmas Food

Hello ladies!

Today it is time for some more Fancy Friday nail art. This week's challenge is christmas food, so I decided to make some cute little gingerbread men inspired by nailsbydaniellet on Instagram!

For the manicure I started off with a maroon base of Essie Dress to Kilt on all my nails except for my pinky which I painted with the burgundy glitter Essie Leading Lady. For the nail art on my middle and ring finger I painted the gingerbread man shape in white followed by a light brown. Lastly I added all the gingerbread man details with a small dotting tool, a small nail art brush, black and white acrylic paint, the green Essie Pretty Edgy and the red Essie Lollipop.

I love how the little fellas turned out!

If you do not know what a sugar spun manicure is, you can check out this tutorial by Sammy at The Nailasaurus.

For the manicure I started off with a chocolate brown base of OPI Ice-Bergers & Fries. Afterwards I followed the tutorial by Sammy using the dark brown nail polish Essie Partner in Crime and the beige nail polish Essie Urban Jungle.

Movember

Hi girls!

Today I have some nail art to share with you guys.
This month is Movember (a portmanteau from moustache and November), which is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health  issues, such as prostate cancer and other male cancers. That is why I decided to raise awareness, not by growing a moustache, but by making some moustache nail art!

For the manicure I started off with a dark brown base of Essie Partner in Crime on my ring finger, middle finger and pinky and with a gold base of Essie Good as Gold on my pointer and thumb. Afterwards I used Essie Good as Gold to stamp moustaches with MoYou Rebel Plate Collection 01 on my ring and middle finger. Lastly I applied the gold glitter Essie Rock at the Top (review and swatch next week) on my pinky.

I love MoYou London stamping plates and I am currently awaiting a huge order from them!

Fancy Friday: Tutorial

Hello ladies!

Today I have some Fancy Friday nail art to show you guys!
This time the challenge is making a tutorial with either a movie or in pictures and I decided to make a picture tutorial on how to do leopard print nails!

Products used:
- OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around
- OPI Ice-Bergers & Fries
- Essie Licorice
- A dotting tool

Start off with a base coat to protect your natural nails. Then apply two coats of a light brown polish. Here I used OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around.

Use a big dotting tool and a brown polish to make some random dots and shapes around the nails. For the brown I used OPI Ice-Bergers & Fries and I got my dotting tools on eBay.

Use a small dotting tool and black nail polish to outline the dots with different c-shapes. The black polish is Essie Licorice.
When you are done outlining the dots, let your nails dry for about 10 minutes and seal in your design with your favorite top coat.

Here is the finished result.
I love leopard print nails and they are so easy to make!

Fancy Friday: Inspired by fall

Hello ladies!

Today I have some Fancy Friday nail art to show you guys!
This time the challenge is being inspired by fall and I decided to make a waterfall manicure inspired by The Nailasaurus using fall colours.

For the manicure I started off with a dusty green base of Essie Fall in Line (swatch and review will be up tomorrow). Afterwards I followed this tutorial (also by The Nailasaurus) using the following polishes: By K. no. 56 Autumn Leaf (orange/brown), By K. no. 70 Dandelion (yellow), Essie Style Cartel (dark brown) and Essie Penny Talk (bronze).

Essie Partner in Crime

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of one of the polishes from the new Essie Dress to Kilt 2014 Fall Collection - Essie Partner in Crime.
Partner in Crime is a rich dark brown creme.

The formula was fantastic - it was smooth and creamy and it went on like melted chocolate (which it also looks like on the nails)! The opacity was amazing as well - two thin coats is all you need for it to be completely opaque!

Dark browns are so sophisticated and just perfect for fall!

Glitter Placement

Hi girls!

Today I also have some nail art to show you guys!
In last week's Fancy Friday I did some glitter placement with Maybelline Undress to Impress from the new Maybelline Stripped Nudes collection. It just so happens that my boyfriend gifted me the bronze glitter Maybelline Bronze Me Up from the same collection as Maybelline Undress to Impress a few days ago, so today I decided to use that to make some more glitter placement!

For the manicure I started off with the chocolate brown nail polish OPI Ice-bergers & Fries. Afterwards I used a small dotting tool to place the bronze glitters from Maybelline Bronze Me Up in a pattern on the accent nail.

I am loving how easy glitter placement nail art is, but how stunning the result is!

OPI Ice-Bergers & Fries

Hey guys!

Today I have an OPI nail polish from the new OPI Nordic Collection to swatch and review for you - OPI Ice-Bergers & Fries.
Ice-Bergers & Fries is a warm toned chocolate brown creme polish.

The formula is good - it is a little in the thin side, but not in that annoying cuticle seeking way. Other than that the formula is smooth and buttery. The opacity is good as well and it only needed two to three coats for full coverage.

I love this chocolate brown nail polish!

Medina by GOSH

Hey guys!

Medina is a Danish pop, dance and R&B singer and songwriter. She is one of the most famous singers in Denmark and she cooperated with the Danish cosmetics company GOSH to create a line of cosmetics called Medina by GOSH consisting of make-up, nail polishes and fragrances.
Today I have swatches of two out of the eight nail polishes from Medina by GOSH.

The first nail polish I have for you guys is called Mocca.
Mocca is a tan nude or light brown creme polish. The formula was good - almost a one-coater, but I applied two coats for the picture down below. The only problem I had with this polish was that it was not very self-leveling.

Medina is a deep red crelly polish. The formula was good - nice and smooth. The opacity was also great - almost a one-coater as well, but I applied two coats to cover up any VNL.
I am in love with this shade of red - it is just perfect!

I also made some nail art with the two polishes from Medina by GOSH. I was inspired by this manicure by The Nailasaurus.
In this manicure you can really see how well the two colours go together!

Lastly I would like to show you guys one of my favorite song by Medina.

I love these Medina by GOSH polishes!

Fancy Friday: Ice Cream

Hello ladies!

Today I have something new for you guys: Fancy Friday.
Fancy Friday is a group of Danish nail polish keen bloggers, that follows a joint challenge in the world of nail polish and nail art every friday.

My first Fancy Friday Challenge is nail art inspired by ice cream. When I heard the title of the challenge I immediately thought about my Etude House polishes, because the bottles are shaped like little ice cream cones. You can see my reviews and swatches of those here.
I decided upon using one of the Etude House polishes in today's manicure!

For the manicure I started off with a matte pink base of Etude House PK001 Stawberry and Essie Matte About You to make my nails resemble strawberry ice cream. Afterwards I followed this tutorial by cutepolish on YouTube, using Essie Lady Godiva (dark brown) to resemble the chocolate sauce, and Essie Blanc (white), Essie Mint Candy Apple (mint blue), Ciaté Big Yellow Taxi (yellow), Essie Mojito Madness (green) and Essie Watermelon (dark pink) to resemble the sprinkles. But instead of using a striper like cutepolish does in her video, I used a dotting tool to make my sprinkles round.

I love how this turned out - it really does look like strawberry ice cream with chocolate sauce and sprinkles!

Essie Lady Godiva

Hey guys!

Today I am wearing my favorite brown nail polish - Essie Lady Godiva.
Lady Godiva is a dark chocolate brown creme polish.

The formula was great - really creamy and nice to apply. I needed two coats for it to be opaque, so the opacity was good too. Wear time was perfect - three days and not a single scratch.

I really enjoy wearing this colour! It totally looks like melted chocolate on your nails - delicious ;)
What do you girls think about this colour? Let me know in the comments!
