Kisses

Hey guys!

Today I have some cute, romantic nail art to share with you!

For the manicure I started off with a pink base of Essie Groove is in the Heart on all my nails, except for my pinky which I painted red with Gosh Medina. Afterwards I freehanded the lips on my middle and ring finger with a small nail art brush and red acrylic paint.

Close up!

I think this nail art turned out adorable!

Hey guys!

Today I have some very simple nail art to share with you!

Fabulous Fruits: Watermelon

Hi girls!

Today I have some more nail art for the fruit theme Fabulous Fruits to show you guys.
The nail art I did today is a watermelon skittlette manicure!
If you do not know what a skittlette manicure is, you can read about how Marta from Chit Chat Nails explains it here.

For the manicure I used the beautiful watermelon pink polish Estée Lauder Tumultuous Pink on my thumb and ring finger and the green Essie Pretty Edgy with the blue and green glitter Oh My Gosh Ocean Club on my pinky. On my middle and index finger I used some striping tape to make watermelon pink triangles with Estée Lauder Tumultuous Pink. Afterwards I freehanded on the details of the watermelon with Essie Pretty Edgy (green), Etude House GR701 (light green), Essie Blanc (white) and Essie Licorice (black).

The summer is almost over, but I am not done with my fruit theme just yet!

21 Aboriginal

Hello ladies!

Today I have yet another manicure for the June Nail Art Challenge for you guys - an Aboriginal manicure!

I was inspired by this manicure by Lucy at Lucy's Stash to make a dotted swirl manicure in warm earth shades.

For the manicure I started off with a dark maroon base of Medina by GOSH Burgundy. Afterwards I followed this tutorial using a small dotting tool, the white polish Essie Blanc and the taupe polish Essie Chinchilly.

I really like how this turned out! It is definitely not the last time I am making a dotted swirl manicure!

Medina by GOSH

Hey guys!

Medina is a Danish pop, dance and R&B singer and songwriter. She is one of the most famous singers in Denmark and she cooperated with the Danish cosmetics company GOSH to create a line of cosmetics called Medina by GOSH consisting of make-up, nail polishes and fragrances.
Today I have swatches of two out of the eight nail polishes from Medina by GOSH.

The first nail polish I have for you guys is called Mocca.
Mocca is a tan nude or light brown creme polish. The formula was good - almost a one-coater, but I applied two coats for the picture down below. The only problem I had with this polish was that it was not very self-leveling.

Medina is a deep red crelly polish. The formula was good - nice and smooth. The opacity was also great - almost a one-coater as well, but I applied two coats to cover up any VNL.
I am in love with this shade of red - it is just perfect!

I also made some nail art with the two polishes from Medina by GOSH. I was inspired by this manicure by The Nailasaurus.
In this manicure you can really see how well the two colours go together!

Lastly I would like to show you guys one of my favorite song by Medina.

I love these Medina by GOSH polishes!

The Classics: Nude

Hello ladies!

Today I have another blog post for the series of classic nail polish colours that every woman should own - nude nail polishes!

Nudes (or neutrals) is for when you do not want to change your polish to match every outfit, for a barely-there look that still adds something extra to your nails with a creamy hint of colour and for a natural look that is perfect for the office or for school.

I chose three different nude polishes from my collection, that matches my skin tone (fair skin with pink undertones).

Essie Spin the Bottle is a nude with pink undertones - a perfect shade for the mannequin hands manicure.
OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around is a light, pink toned nude with grey undertones - a flattering shade for most skin tones.
Gosh Nude* is a tan nude - perfect for summer.

Which of the nudes do you girls like the best? Let me know in the comments!

Stay polished!

*I actually do not know the name of this polish, as I took the sticker with the name on of (silly me). If any of you guys know the name, please let me know!

17 Studs

Hello ladies!

So I made another manicure of the February Nail Art Challenge and I would like to share it with you guys. Today it is a studs manicure!

I started off with a dark nude base of Gosh Nude, followed by a thick, blue stripe down the middle of the nails made with the blue nail polish Essie Mesmerize and a striper. After that had dried completely I topped it off with a top coat and placed the studs on the nails. Pretty simple!

I really love this look. Both edgy and pretty at the same time!
The manicure is inspired by this manicure by Sam at The Nailasaurus.

What do you guys think? Let me know in the comment!

xoxo
