Palate Cleanser

Hey guys!

Today I have some simple nail art to share with you! I really needed something simple on my nails to act like a palate cleanser for me.

For the manicure I started off with a taupe nude base of Essie Go Go Geisha on all my nails. Afterwards I used a small nail art brush and Dance Legend Silver Leaf top coat to create the glitter gradient.

Close up!

I love a simple glitter gradient as this one!

Water Droplets

Hey guys!

Today I tried a new technique inspired by @simplynailogical - water droplets!
See it in action here!

For the manicure I started off with a duochrome base of Dance Legend Boggs on all my nails. Afterwards I mattified it with Essie Matte About You. Lastly I added the droplets using a dotting tool and a clear polish.

Close up!

I don't think it works as well with regular nail polish as with gel polish, but I think it turned out okay.

Spider Web

Hey guys!

Today I have some holographic spider web nail art inspired by @nailsonthames to share with you!

For the manicure I started off with a blue base of Chanel Vibrato on all my nails. Afterwards I stamped on the holographic spider web with Dance Legend T-1000 and MoYou London Pro Plate 03.

This Chanel shade are seriously so beautiful!

I am in love with this design!

Dance Legend Sunshine 195

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of the UV changing nail polish Dance Legend Sunshine 195 - a polish that changes color in the sun!
Sunshine 195 is an off-white lilac with gold glitter inside and in the shade and a medium purple with a magenta undertone (still with gold glitter of course) in the sun.

The formula was okay - it was a little gooey and difficult to apply. The opacity was good and it was opaque in two some-what thick coats or three thinner ones.

Inside
Outside

This polish is crazy cool and the change in color is amazing!
What do you guys think about it? Let me know in the comments!

Twin Nails

Hey guys!

Today I have some twin nails that I did with the sweet Selina of @nailsbyselina to show you guys!

For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on my pointer and middle finger, a silver holographic base of Dance Legend T-1000 on my ring finger, and a mint green base of OPI That's Hula-rious on my pinky. Afterwards I made the gradient on my pointer and middle finger with a make-up sponge, the taupe/brown Essie Chinchilly, and the mint green OPI That's Hula-rious. Lastly I made the leopard print on my pointer and middle finger with a small dotting tool, the white OPI Alpine Snow, and the black Essie Licorice.

I really like how our manicures turned out!

Fancy Friday: Christmas Presents

Hi girls!

Today I would like to share this week's Fancy Friday challenge with you guys. The challenge is christmas presents and I made some tiny presents on my nails inspired by ErinZi.

For the manicure I started off with a green base of Essie Pretty Edgy on all my nails. For the christmas presents on my middle and ring finger I followed this tutorial by ErinZi using gold striping tape. To finish off the skittlette I added Gold Leaf top coat from Dance Legend to my pinky.

I love how cute the little presents are!

Fall Skittlette

Hi girls!

Today I have some fall nail art to share with you guys - a super simple fall skittlette manicure.

For the manicure I started off with a dusty purple base of Essie Smokin' Hot (one of my favorite shades for fall) on all my nails. Afterwards I applied some gold diamond-shaped studs on my ring and middle finger using a wax pen to easily pick up the studs (review on the wax pens will be up monday). To finish of the skittlette manicure I applied a gold leaf top coat from Dance Legend on my pinky.

The studs that I used for this nail art are from the Born Pretty Store. They come in a wheel (#5003) with gold and silver studs in tons of different shapes and sizes - hearts, stars, squares and diamonds to name a few. I really like this wheel as there is a lot of different studs to pick from and you get a lot for your money (it's only 3.67$)!
If you want to buy something in the Born Pretty Store remember to use my coupon code SXKQ10 to get 10% off on your entire order and free international shipping! Click here to see their nail art products.

I really like how simple this fall skittlette manicure turned out!

Snow in the woods

Hi girls!

Today I made a simple manicure using Essie Going Incognito and Dance Legend Dotty Top.
When I was done, it totally reminded me of snow in the woods!

Essie Going Incognito is a dark green polish. The formula was amazing - sooo buttery and smooth to apply and it only needed two quick coats to be completely opaque.
Dance Legend Dotty Top is white hexagon glitters in a clear base. The formula was great and so was the glitter pay-off.

What do you girls think of this manicure? Does is remind you of snow in the woods as well?
Let me know in the comments!

St. Patrick's Day

Hey guys!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! I hope you are all wearing green today - I am in the form of nail polish (naturally).
Today I have a swatch and review of Dance Legend Top Magnetic for you guys.
Top Magnetic is a silvery grey magnetic top coat.

The formula was great - smooth and really easy to apply. The top coat is supplied with a magnet with diagonal lines, which works perfectly! You just have to hold it over the wet polish for 10 seconds or so and the silver particles all line up nicely to create the magnetic effect.
The magnetic effect is very strong and clean, provided you hold the magnet still for the 10 seconds.
Down below the Top Magnetic is shown over the green polish Essie Pretty Edgy.

Dance Legend Top Magnetic is really awesome because it makes any one of your polishes into a magnetic!
What do you girls think of that? Let me know in the comments!

Lemming Part II

Hello again ladies!

Yesterday I swatched Dance Legend's Gold Leaf top coat - today I am swatching their Silver Leaf top coat.

The formula of the top coat was great and so was the flakes of glitter pay-off! Just perfect!
Down below I used one coat over the blue nail polish OPI Dating a Royal.

I am in love with the two (Gold Leaf and Silver Leaf) top coats from Dance Legend - they are both pretty over almost any colour and they both have great formulas.
What do you girls think of them? Let me know in the comments!

Lemming

Hello ladies!

Some of you might remember my lemming for the Dance Legend Gold Leaf top coat. Well, I finally got it and today I tried it on!

The formula of the top coat was good - a little on the thin side, so I expected the flakes of glitter pay-off to be bad, but fortunately it was really good!
Down below I used one coat over the red nail polish Essie Lollipop.

This colour scheme really reminds me of China!

Dance Legend Boggs

Hi guys!

I just couldn't get enough of the duochrome-effect, so today I decided to try on, swatch and review another polish from Dance Legend's Chameleon Collection - Dance Legend Boggs.
Boggs is an intense duochrome nail polish with a blue base and purple/pink color shifts - in extreme angles also orange/yellow colour shifts, but unfortunately I could not catch that on camera.

The formula was good - a little sheer and streaky on the first coat, but very easily buildable and opaque with two to three coats, depending on how you polish.
The duochrome-effect was really good - and I mean REALLY good! In extreme angles the purple colour shift make the polish appear a completely different colour than the blue base.
For the picture below I used two coats and top coat.

I have to repeat myself and say: I am in love with the duochrome effect in this polish! I cannot stop staring at it!

Dance Legend Roz

Hello ladies!

Today I have a swatch and review of one of the polishes from Dance Legend's Chameleon Collection - Dance Legend Roz.
Roz is an extreme duochrome nail polish with a magenta base and green/gold/bronze colour shifts.

The formula of the polish was okay - it was a little patchy on the first coat, but everything will even out on the second or third, given you wait a minute or two between each layer.
The duochrome effect in this polish is amazing - I mean wow! In extreme angles the polish is a completely different colour than the base! Just amazing.
For the picture below I used two to three coats plus top coat.

I am in love with the crazy intense duochrome effect! I cannot stop staring at my nails!
Do you agree with me here guys? Let me know in the comments!
